This privacy policy explains which personal data EasyJobs7 (easyjobs7.com) collects, why, and what rights you have. It applies to candidates, employers and visitors. We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, for users in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password, phone number (if you provide it).
• Candidate profile: CV, photo, education, work experience, skills, languages, desired location and salary, notice period — only what you choose to enter.
• Applications: which jobs you applied to and when.
• Employer data: company name, contact person, address, logo, job advertisements.
• Payment data: for paid services we receive the payment status, amount, date and a transaction reference from our payment provider. We do not receive or store your card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and time of visit. We use this for security and for our own visitor statistics.
• Messages: what you send us through contact or enquiry forms.

3. Why we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To publish job advertisements and to forward applications to the employer concerned.
• To process payments and keep accounting records.
• To send you service emails (verification codes, confirmations, password resets).
• To protect the platform against spam, fraud and abuse.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (aggregated statistics).
• To send newsletters — only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Under the GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract (your account, job postings, applications), legal obligations (e.g. accounting), our legitimate interests (security, statistics, improving the service) and your consent (newsletter).

4. Who sees your data

• Employers: when you apply for a job, the employer who published it can see your profile, CV and application.
• Visitors: job advertisements and company names are public.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf:
  • DreamHost (USA) — website hosting, database and email sending.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Google — reCAPTCHA spam protection on forms and web fonts.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Transfers abroad

Some providers are located outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, in particular in the USA. In such cases the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU/Swiss standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the site: a session cookie (to keep you logged in) and a language cookie (to remember your language, valid for one year). Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies when you use a protected form. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. How long we keep data

We keep your account data as long as your account exists. Applications are kept as long as needed for the recruitment process. Payment and accounting records are kept for the period required by law (in Switzerland generally 10 years). Technical logs and statistics are kept for a limited period. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restrictions and regular backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to: tell you which data we hold about you and give you a copy; correct inaccurate data; delete your data or your account; restrict or object to processing; and — where processing is based on consent — withdraw your consent at any time.
