As a Business Application Specialist at Billiant, you’ll be at the core of our product and customer operations. Your mission: to ensure customers get the most from our powerful business system through smart configurations, hands-on problem-solving, and technical back-office support.
You’ll be the critical link between client needs and product capabilities — troubleshooting urgent issues one moment, and planning strategic system improvements the next. You’ll also play a key role in system upgrades and implementation projects, occasionally scheduled during off-hours to minimize customer downtime.
Support customers with advanced system configurations and database queries (primarily using SQL)
Lead system implementations and configurations for both new and existing customers
Collaborate closely with our development team to improve the product based on user insights
Manage both quick-turnaround support cases and larger, strategic system enhancement projects
Participate in system upgrades and onboarding initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions for our customers
You’re a solution-oriented system professional with a knack for technical problem-solving and a customer-first mindset. You bring a strong technical foundation, particularly in SQL, and a passion for streamlining and enhancing business processes through smart IT solutions.
You enjoy working closely with different teams — support, development, and customers alike — and you take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable results.
Strong SQL skills and solid system knowledge
Background in systems science, computer science, or a related IT education
Experience working with web services and integrations (REST/SOAP over HTTP)
Analytical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
Genuine interest in business software optimization and automation
Bonus Points For:
Experience in implementation projects or system upgrades
Familiarity with business systems, telecom environments, or back-office processes
