Assignment – BI Developer (MicroStrategy)

A leading organization is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in MicroStrategy to support ongoing reporting activities and contribute to platform optimization. This role is part of a broader roadmap initiative focused on enhancing the reporting infrastructure and preparing for a future transition to platforms like Power BI Fabric and Copilot.

Role Overview
As a BI Developer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the MicroStrategy environment, helping to ease capacity challenges by ensuring reliable delivery of standard reports. You will also engage in critical development tasks aimed at system improvements and risk reduction. The role requires close collaboration across various business units to keep the platform secure, efficient, and ready for future downscaling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and fine-tune project configurations, including VLDB (Very Large Database) settings

• Review and update security roles as necessary

• Simplify and optimize access control lists in partnership with key stakeholders

• Perform testing on adjusted environments and support other testers when needed

• Maintain ongoing collaboration with the infrastructure team

• Document all updates and changes comprehensively

This assignment involves supporting multiple MicroStrategy projects and coordinating with diverse internal teams.

Required Skills:

• Proven expertise in MicroStrategy development and administration

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
