As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a talented Backend Software Developer to help develop mission-critical systems that support our hybrid drone technology.

Your Role
As a backend developer at Hecto Drone, you’ll work on reliable, high-performance software systems that control drones and manage fleets in real-time. Your code will be integral to the operation, safety, and efficiency of our advanced aerial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend software for drone control and fleet management systems.

• Implement scalable and high-performance applications using C# and C++.

• Ensure system stability, fault tolerance, and performance through testing, profiling, and error handling.

• Collaborate closely with embedded systems and hardware teams to integrate software with our hybrid drone platforms.

• Optimize real-time data processing and communication protocols for drone operation.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold high software quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong programming skills in C# and C++.

• Proven experience in backend development, API design, and system architecture.

• Solid understanding of multi-threading, networking, and real-time processing.

• Familiarity with fault-tolerant design, failover mechanisms, and error recovery strategies.

• Experience with embedded systems or hardware-software integration is a strong plus.

• A passion for aviation, robotics, or autonomous systems is highly desirable.
