Software Tools Engineer – AI Integration & Secure Development

We’re seeking a skilled and forward-looking Software Tools Engineer to lead the integration of AI-assisted development tools into our software workflows. This role uniquely combines secure software engineering with cutting-edge AI technologies, including both cloud-based platforms and on-premise large language models (LLMs).

This is an onsite role requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of AI-powered tools into existing development processes and CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams to evaluate data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory considerations

• Keep abreast of the latest AI tooling innovations, assessing new technologies and frameworks that can enhance software development

• Build and maintain support utilities and infrastructure to enable safe, scalable, and efficient AI tool usage in development environments

• Educate engineering teams on prompt design techniques and best practices for AI tool interaction

• Organize workshops and internal sessions to raise awareness and build skills around AI-supported programming

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience working with locally hosted large language models (LLMs) or integrating AI platforms and APIs

• Strong passion for AI agents, developer tools, and prompt engineering

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD automation and modern development toolchains

• Understanding of data protection and intellectual property challenges related to AI technologies

• Proven software development background

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-team knowledge sharing
